Current Reptile Residents

Come see our live reptiles up close and learn fun facts about them! We have great new friends waiting to meet you. Don't forget to say hi to your favorite long-time residents - like Myrtle the soft-shelled turtle and Blooper the 2-foot long blue tongued skink. You'll have to see some of these critters to believe them!

Our Live Bugs

We have a wide variety of living and preserved bugs on hand here at the Bug & Reptile museum. Our displays are arranged perfectly for younger kids (and families) to get up close and see these critters first hand. Have you ever seen tarantula's fangs? Or wondered how many kinds of butterflies and moths we have here in Washington state? Maybe you just want to see how different beetle exoskeletons can be or what the inside of a bee hive looks like. We have a little bit of everything!

Former Bug Visitors

Our collection of live bugs is always changing - these are some of the critters that we've had pass through our museum over the years.

Bug Display Collage

We have an extensive collection of preserved bugs from around the world available for you to view close up. Be sure to check out our stunning moths and beetles, view the inside of a bee hive and see for yourself how varied the world of bugs is.

Don't miss our ant farm display that spans over 8-feet near the back of the museum. This colony of harvester ants is always busy working together to maintain their home. Stay for a bit and watch them clear tunnels, moving food and sand along the way.
